Wet and Wild with The Mamis

Location: Enchanted Kingdom (Sta. Rosa, Laguna) and Dencio's Restaurant (Tagaytay)
Date: November 5, 2010

Again, I had another Enchanted Kingdom experience. Every visit at EK is memorable. Every visit at EK with my FAMILY and FRIENDS is memorable. This time, i'm not with my family, i'm not with high school friends nor with my ever supporting dabarkadz but rather with my NFFs, The Mamis. Well, it's time to let baygons be baygons and just forget what happened in the past. That's the true meaning of friendship anyway. Aside from the excitement of trying the new ride of EK, I just want to have fun with the Mamis. They're fun to be with pala and we somehow share similar things and stuff together. And for the record, I never felt OP or out-of-place with them.

So our bonding time includes different rides together in EK, "kwentuhan and chikahan" while waiting at the line for a ride, stalking at cute guys and boy-watching and of course EATING good food. Though there was heavy rain, nothing stopped us from having fun. It is indeed a "Wet and Wild" experience with the Mamis. In addition, for the sembreak/student promo of EK, they gave us free snack of stuffed pandesal and Chuckie chocolate drink! Yummy! :)

Free snack yeah!

All were wet after a day of heavy rains, Jungle Log Jam 2x and Rio Grande Wet and Wild Ride

The night never ended as we went straight to Tagaytay to eat dinner. Thank God we have our drivers, Mia and RV who brought their cars for the road trip to happen. We ate at Dencios and ordered the Set Meal A (worth P1300) which includes, Kangkong with bagoong, Nilasing na Hipon sa Taba ng Talangka (great name! LOL), Sizzling Chicken Gambas, Krispy Sisig, Sinigang na Baboy, 5 cups of rice and a pitcher of iced tea. We also ordered additional 3 cups of rice because we're 8 and a bowl of Bulalo (worth P285) to satisfy our hunger and cravings.

The Kangkong with bagoong is one of my favorite because of the boiled somewhat crunchy kangkong with the bagoong mixed and sauted with tomatoes, garlic and onion.

The Krispy Sisig is the best. It's crunchy and every bite feels like heaven. This I think is Dencio's specialty. I will surely go back to Dencio's for this!

The special bulalo was also yummy especially the tender beef mixed with vegetables (pechay, corn and cabbage)   and cooked creating a meal perfect to a hungry stomach.

The nilasing na hipon sa taba ng talangka (king prawns cooked in crub roe) was very delicious. The strong and yummy taste of crub roe simply gave the prawns a different kick of one unforgettable flavor. The scrumptious taste of it is evident in the photo for only just one prawn remained in the plate for picture taking after 10 seconds of placing it on the table.
