Wet and Wild with The Mamis

Location: Enchanted Kingdom (Sta. Rosa, Laguna) and Dencio's Restaurant (Tagaytay)
Date: November 5, 2010

Again, I had another Enchanted Kingdom experience. Every visit at EK is memorable. Every visit at EK with my FAMILY and FRIENDS is memorable. This time, i'm not with my family, i'm not with high school friends nor with my ever supporting dabarkadz but rather with my NFFs, The Mamis. Well, it's time to let baygons be baygons and just forget what happened in the past. That's the true meaning of friendship anyway. Aside from the excitement of trying the new ride of EK, I just want to have fun with the Mamis. They're fun to be with pala and we somehow share similar things and stuff together. And for the record, I never felt OP or out-of-place with them.

So our bonding time includes different rides together in EK, "kwentuhan and chikahan" while waiting at the line for a ride, stalking at cute guys and boy-watching and of course EATING good food. Though there was heavy rain, nothing stopped us from having fun. It is indeed a "Wet and Wild" experience with the Mamis. In addition, for the sembreak/student promo of EK, they gave us free snack of stuffed pandesal and Chuckie chocolate drink! Yummy! :)

Free snack yeah!

All were wet after a day of heavy rains, Jungle Log Jam 2x and Rio Grande Wet and Wild Ride

The night never ended as we went straight to Tagaytay to eat dinner. Thank God we have our drivers, Mia and RV who brought their cars for the road trip to happen. We ate at Dencios and ordered the Set Meal A (worth P1300) which includes, Kangkong with bagoong, Nilasing na Hipon sa Taba ng Talangka (great name! LOL), Sizzling Chicken Gambas, Krispy Sisig, Sinigang na Baboy, 5 cups of rice and a pitcher of iced tea. We also ordered additional 3 cups of rice because we're 8 and a bowl of Bulalo (worth P285) to satisfy our hunger and cravings.

The Kangkong with bagoong is one of my favorite because of the boiled somewhat crunchy kangkong with the bagoong mixed and sauted with tomatoes, garlic and onion.

The Krispy Sisig is the best. It's crunchy and every bite feels like heaven. This I think is Dencio's specialty. I will surely go back to Dencio's for this!

The special bulalo was also yummy especially the tender beef mixed with vegetables (pechay, corn and cabbage)   and cooked creating a meal perfect to a hungry stomach.

The nilasing na hipon sa taba ng talangka (king prawns cooked in crub roe) was very delicious. The strong and yummy taste of crub roe simply gave the prawns a different kick of one unforgettable flavor. The scrumptious taste of it is evident in the photo for only just one prawn remained in the plate for picture taking after 10 seconds of placing it on the table.

Will it be a Chris-Criss love team?

Excitement on the upcoming episode of glee entitled Never Been Kissed is killing me now. I can't wait to see Darren Criss singing Teenage Dream as he plays the role of Blaine, an openly gay member of a rival glee club and see my idol Kurt (Chris Colfer) melt with every charming look of Blaine.

Chris-Criss love team would be something we should watch out in every episode of glee. Would their "teenage dream love affair" work or will it give more heartaches to Kurt? Let's see as the next episode of glee opens November 9 on Fox and November 10 on ETC.

Watch the full video of Darren Criss singing Teenage Dream here.

P.S. I love Darren's School Uniform. :)

An EKstreme Experience

Last week, I've seen the new ride of Enchanted Kingdom in Unang Hirit (GMA 7) and it really caught my attention because I am a very adventurous person not that I'm saying I'm very brave and all but I love trying out new and fun ways to make my life more exciting. The Ekstreme Tower Ride is the new attraction of the Enchanted Kingdom located at Sta. Rosa, Laguna which is a 150 ft tall tower (10 ft per 15 yrs of Enchanted Kingdom's existence) of heart pumping, palm sweating and breath taking experience which you will never forget once you've tried it.

I can't remember how many times I've been to Enchanted Kingdom but this time it was really fun because I was able to try the Ekstreme Tower Ride that I will surely never forget.

The ride was a 1 minute going up and 2 seconds going down hell of an experience where you will experience flying and floating in air while sitting. That was the feeling up there! I felt floating in air but can't shout once I have fallen from the top! Breath taking is the word.

But the ride isn't free. You have to pay P50 (for students) or P80 (for non students) to experience this daredevil ride. I hope this ride would be available to the public for free because I want to try it for n times!

Anne Hathaway for Vogue November Issue Cover

If there's one hollywood actress that i really admire most, that would be Anne Hathaway. Not only she is a good actress but her wit and charm really astounds me. I really love all her movies. Name it, I've already watched it! From Princess Diaries to The Devil wears Prada to Valentine's Day, all were blockbusters for me and I can watch it nth times.

This is the November issue cover of Vogue magazine and look how Anne simply looks like the Princess who live happily ever after.

The glamorous smile tells it all. Check vogue.com for more of Anne Hathaway's Vogue experience.

Kurt, The Glee Fashion Diva

I am a certified Gleek! Yes, I admit it. I can tell you any scene or in what episode of glee does a scene happen in just a blink of an eye. But what caught my eye every time I watch Glee is what Chris Colfer (aka Kurt Hummel in Glee) is wearing. Aside from the musical, what I'm eager about this show is how glamorous the stars are wearing every piece of clothing while portraying their roles. But the best, the Fashion Diva of them all, I think and I know would be my Idol, the soprano of The McKinley High Glee Club, Kurt.

Look how Kurt models these trench coats glamorously. If only there is winter here in the Philippines, I might buy these trenches too. LOL.

I also admire Kurt's wide collection of ties and bow ties and how he (or maybe his stylist) do layering because every piece fits just right! I promise, I'll be as fashionista as him!

more of Kurt's fashion soon... :)

F! irst Uttering

Well, maybe it is time to share what my mouth wants to utter through words using this blog. I am not very fluent in english when it comes to communicating to others and sometimes, writing is one way where I can express my self clearly and more informatively. This blog might help me enhance my writing skill which slept for about 4 years now since I joined our school paper way back in high school.

I stopped blogging since I was inclined to facebook-ing where there is no blogging feature like in multiply. But now, I want to share to everybody specially those who are close to me (friends and family) what I am most fund of doing right now and my life's experiences.

I entitled my blog "F!" which stands for Fashion, Food, Family and Friendship because these things are my special interests right now. I have a strong interest in fashion which can be reflected through my motto, "Dress to Impress" and through what my idol Kurt Hummel of glee (Chris Colfer in real life) said in one episode in glee that "Every moment of your life is an opportunity for FASHION." And in fact, I want to study fashion design and launch my own clothing line someday maybe after I become successful in my career as a chemical engineer (look how far the two fields are. LOL).

I am very picky when it comes to food. That's why I only eat those food that will satisfy me and I will not regret eating. In this blog, I want to share my wild food choices and my best food experiences with my family and friends.

There are things that money can't buy, two of these are my FAMILY and FRIENDSHIP. I am  not a perfect son to my parents nor a perfect brother to my sibling but I can say that I'm satisfied with them and if God would give me a chance to choose a family, I will still choose what  I have now. But even the most perfect family has its shortcomings and problems and whenever I feel alone, I am grateful that I have friends to lean on. Friends who always make me happy and fulfilled.

Sharing my life and lifestyle to everyone through this blog might be one opportunity for others to know who I really am. There are things that I choose to write in  a piece of paper rather than say or utter. This blog might help me express these words. Words that my mouth should utter but my hands want to write.
